Lunch Box And Bacon Bit Are Two Little Pigs Looking For Their Forever Home
Our VHS Pet(s) of the Week are two sweet Guinea Pigs, Lunch Box and Bacon Bit.

All Makes and Models!
The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, this week we have TWO! Meet Lunch Box and Bacon Bit!
Meet Lunch Box and Bacon Bit
Lunch Box and Bacon Bit are some Guinea Pigs currently residing at the VHS. These sweet little piggies are brothers and would do well in a home together.
Lunch Box and Bacon Bit are an iconic pair of Guinea Pigs from the Vanderburgh Humane Society! Would you believe that the shelter is full of these adoptable piggies right now? These brothers are of the Peruvian variety, but we have all sorts to choose from–And just in time for “National Adopt a Guinea Pig” month! If you’re looking for a relatively low-maintenance pet that is relatively quiet with a lot of personality, a guinea pig might be the perfect choice for you. Their adoption fee is $30, but most are bonded…making it only $60 for an adorable and entertaining pair!
