Kentucky Restaurant’s Famous Festival of Lights Going on Through January
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Grand Rivers, Kentucky!
Patti's 1880's Settlement
Patti's 1880's Settlement is known for serving up delicious food in a great atmosphere. If you have ever been to Grand Rivers, Kentucky there is a good chance you've been to Patti's. In fact, Grand Rivers has a population of 350 people, and Patti's two restaurants serve more than 350,000 people annually. That's a whole lot of flower pot bread and pork chops being served! More than just a restaurant, Patti's 1880's Settlement is well, a whole settlement. On the same property as the restaurant, you'll find several little shops and boutiques selling all kinds of goods.
Festival of Lights
Every year Patti's 1880's Settlement lights up in a big way for the holiday season. People travel from all over to see the stunning Christmas light displays and put in a request with St. Nick himself. Every year we have a tradition in my husband's family to go down to Patti's 1880's Settlement for a delicious meal and to soak up the Christmas lights. It's a tradition that we all enjoy, but it's gotten even more fun in recent years with my sweet niece and my son enjoying the lights.
If you want to check out the Festival of Lights it is free and open to the public nightly from 4 PM to 10 PM through January 14th. And if you want to put in a request with the jolly man in red, according to a post on Patti's Facebook page, Santa will be arriving soon!
