Haunted New Harmony Prepares For First Ghost Walk Of The Season
Prepare For Friday The 13th With A Ghost Walk
I'm an absolute baby when it comes to anything scary, but throw some history in there, and I'm suddenly intrigued. Learning about how the tri-state got to where we are today has always fascinated me, and I'm not alone. This is why ghost walks and haunted tours have become so popular. Every city has a story, and the older the city, the more interesting the details become. New Harmony is a perfect example of this history coming to life in the form of ghost walks and paranormal investigations. Accomplished author and paranormal enthusiast Joni Mayhan has taken her love of the paranormal and created Haunted New Harmony.
Is New Harmony, Indiana Haunted?
New Harmony, Indiana, is considered one of the most haunted towns in the Midwest. Considered a 19th-century utopian settlement, New Harmony has documented accounts of multiple paranormal activities. Popular locations include Thralls Opera House, Murphy Auditorium, the Roofless Church, and David Lenz House, to name a few. When you have a town with this much paranormal activity, you embrace it, which is exactly what we get with Haunted New Harmony Ghost Walks.
Haunted New Harmony Ghost Walk Options
In classic paranormal form, the first ghost walk of the season will be on Friday the 13th, but that walk is filling up fast. Lucky for us, there are multiple options for walks and investigations. Each walk is approximately 90 minutes, includes real stories and real hauntings, and all walks are lantern-lit. Other walks include a Dark Side Walk, Church Street Mysteries, and Paranormal Pursuit Walking Investigations. Want to see what a real walk or investigation is like?
