UPDATED: This event has sold out!
A Night of Songs and Stories, the 2025 Find A Way fundraising event, with feature an MLB Hall of Famer and some awesome music.
Mattingly Charities is a great organization here in the Evansville area. The Evansville-based non-profit was founded by Don Mattingly and his wife, Lori, with the intention of helping underserved youth in the Evansville area through the game of baseball. Over the years, the organization has branched out to help other youth-focused organizations by providing funding in the form of grants to those organizations for projects and programs that work with young people in the community. Each year, Mattingly Charities holds a big fundraising event to raise money for the organization. Over the past nine years, one of the biggest events they have held has been the Find a Way event. They have brought in Trace Adkins, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Jameson Rodgers, among other guests in years past, and this year's event is going to be just as exciting!
2025 Mattingly Charities Find a Way Event
In case you didn't know, or maybe you just forgot, Don Mattingly isn't the only MLB legend who hails from Evansville, Indiana. In fact, at this year's Find a Way event, he'll be joined by another Evansville native who left his own mark on Major League Baseball. That, of course, is none other than MLB Hall of Famer Scott Rolen. This legendary third baseman played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Cincinnati Reds from 1996 to 2012. Rolen will join Mattingly on stage for a special Q&A session.
So you will no doubt hear some amazing stories, but the night also promises songs as well. Guests will also enjoy a live performance by Tennessee-born troubadour and country singer-songwriter Larry Fleet, best known for his hit single “Where I Find God” and his latest album Earned It.
The 2025 Find A Way fundraising event, hosted by Mattingly Charities, will be held on Thursday, November 20, at the United Companies Air Center in Evansville, Indiana. Tickets for the event are extremely limited, so you will want to get your hands on those ASAP! For more information, tickets, or sponsorship opportunities, please visit www.mattinglycharities.org.
