This Fast Food Chain is Headed for a Mega Indiana Expansion
In an age where the news seems to be full of restaurant and store closures, it's always great to see new establishments popping up. For one fast food chain, business must be good because corporate officials have announced some big news. The best part? It's a nationally recognized chain that just so happens to be America's favorite burger joint.

According to Eat This, Not That!, Culver's, which is known for their cheese curds, butter burgers, and frozen custard, plans to grow by at least 51 locations by the end of 2024. The expansion will include states in the midwest and south, with Indiana and Florida getting the bulk of the new brick-and-mortar locales. The following states are also set to see at least one Culver's under construction:
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Illinois
- Kansas
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Missouri
- North Carolina
- Ohio
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Wisconsin
Florida will receive the most new Culver's spots, with 13 stores slated to be built in the Sunshine State. However, Indiana is not far behind that, as we Hoosiers will get eight new Culver's locations this year. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any information on where exactly these locations will be, but that doesn't mean one won't be popping up on a street near you.
I personally love Culver's. While I've only had maybe one or two butter burgers in my life, I've had my fair share of their frozen custard. I would probably be more into the idea of ordering actual food if they didn't have crinkle-cut fries. I don't know what it is, but I'm just not a fan of those fat little rigid potatoes. That said, if you like all that Culver's has to offer, you probably won't have to worry about them going out of business anytime soon.
