Investigators with the Evansville Police Department are asking for your help in identifying and locating a suspect involved in an incident on the city's north side resulting in the shooting of a 17-year-old juvenile.

Juvenile Shot in the 1700 Block of Keck Avenue

According to the report provided by the EPD's Pubilc Information Officer, Anna Grey, 911 dispatch received a call around 7:50 PM Tuesday night (October 24th) regarding a shooting in the 1700 block of Keck Avenue between Weinbach and Maxwell Avenues.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 17-year-old juvenile with a gunshot wound. The report did not specify where on the victim's body the wound was located, however, it appeared to be non-life threatening, thankfully. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated.

Investigators with the case say the victim told them he was familiar with the suspect but was unable to provide a name. What is known is that the suspect drove off in a white vehicle after the incident took place. However, no specifics about the make, model, or style of the vehicle were provided.

This is still an active investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
