Why You Should Take A Stroll On This Warrick County Road
Roll your windows down, let that fresh breeze blow through your vehicle. Embrace fall this year with a Sunday drive through Warrick County. I often find myself needing a short break from the hustle and bustle of life, and I love nothing more than a good Sunday drive. Boonville New Harmony road is my personal go-to, with endless options of foliage, fishing, wildlife, and a nice escape that's perfect for a weekend getaway.
Blue Grass Fish & Wildlife Area
Bluegrass Wildlife Reserve is a short drive from anywhere in Evansville and provides beautiful lakes for fishing, kayaking or canoeing and several hiking trails. Watch out for bicycles! This is a cyclist-friendly area with the beautiful scenery and endless country roads to cycle.
According to Indiana Department of Natural Resources:
Blue Grass Fish & Wildlife Area provides and maintains quality hunting, fishing, and wildlife watching opportunities. The property covers approximately 2,532 acres and features 28 pits and lakes, totaling around 600 acres of water.
Miles Landing Campground
Miles Landing is a growing campground, offering quick access to all of the amenities this area has to offer, even calling themselves your home away from home. Full RV hookups, electric sites, and shower facilities are a few of the amenities the campground offers. A weekend stay here will leave you feeling refreshed without going far from home!

Beautiful Fall Views And Fun Finds On Boonville New Harmony Road
This is one of the best places to watch the leaves change colors. With a variety of plant and tree species in the area, every winding turn holds a different beauty. During the summer, sunflowers line the quarry area of the road, which is an interesting area (if large holes in the ground intrigue you...this is your jam). With that in mind, there are other odd sites to be seen here as well. You can find life-size statues of Sasquatch, check out the lily pads near Bird Dog Pit, or honk at the sheep farm like I do when I pass (they always seem so lonely). The adventures are endless on Boonville New Harmony Road, so get out there and grab hold of them!
