March 4th will be the first Sunday since Indiana became a state that Hoosiers will be allowed to buy takeout alcohol on Sundays.

Just today Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb signed the historic bill, allowing alcohol sales on Sunday. Ever since Indiana became a state in 1816 alcohol sales on Sunday have been outlawed. The bill was originally supposed to go into effect on July 1st, but a measure was added to make it effective as soon as it was signed into law, which happened today.
