Is Larry Bird Leaving the Pacers

According to a report in the Indianapolis Star, Larry Bird is leaving the Pacers.

An unidentified source told the Star that Bird was meeting with the team owner to discuss his departure. The Pacers are not commenting.

Bird was head coach from 1997-2000 and returned to the team’s front office in 2003. He took over as president of operations in 2008.
