Gas Price Shocker: $4 Per Gallon This Morning in Evansville

Gas prices in Evansville took a huge jump overnight and most Evansville stations are now charging $3.99 per gallon. Early morning price checking still found some stations charging $3.83, but I would expect those stations to increase prices soon.

Prices area about ten cents per gallon cheaper in Henderson.

The increases are being blamed on high crude oil prices and refinery cutbacks.
