Evansville’s Lilly King Wins GOLD in Rio Olympics!
Lilly King defeated rival (and finger-waving Russian) Yulia Efimova to bring home the Gold Medal in the Women's 100m Breaststroke. Lilly's winning time was 1:04.93, an OLYMPIC RECORD!
Lilly King isn't done with Olympic events yet. On Wednesday, she'll begin her quest for another medal, this time competing in the Women's 200m Breaststroke. No matter what happens, King can go to bed tonight (and for the rest of her life), as an Olympic Gold Medalist!
