
Car Crash Nearly Mauls Reporter During Live Segment
Instead of reporting the news, one reporter became the news.
Alex Savidge, of San Francisco's KTVU, was outside of a 7-Eleven doing a story about a train derailment when a car got into an accident and veered off the road, coming within inches of hitting him. Please note the NSFW language.
The car hit a light stand after crashing into another vehicle and then made its way toward Savidge, who only jumped to safety after his cameraman shouted, "Get out of the way." Officials are still looking into the accident.
After the incident, Savidge returned to the airwaves, clearly shaken up by what happened:
