The Evansville Parks Foundation invites you to join them for their 3rd annual Twilight Tour through Oak Hill Cemetery to learn more about several of the historically significant individuals who have been laid to rest there.

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20th, and will feature local actors dressed as a few of the more significant names buried within the cemetery, many of which have names that will sound really familiar such as Meade Johnson, Sr., founder of, well, Meade Johnson,  Daniel Wertz, Glimore and Bob Haynie, and Henry F. Koch among others.

The actors will share information about the individuals they represent as visitors pass by the grave sites.

Tickets for the event are $15 each and are available now through the Vanderburgh County Historical Society website.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Parks Foundation's Adopt-An-Ash program aimed at treating ash trees in the area (many of which are located within Oak Hill Cemetery) to prevent the infestation of the Emerald Ash Borer.
