Rodney and I had a front row seat for the storm that ripped through Gibson County Tuesday evening. We were in the Sweet Corn Festival Parade.
The storm last night has caused extensive damage in the Oakland City area. At this time, police are limiting traffic into the town.
The Red Cross has set up their Emergency Recovery Services headquarters at the new Community Center located on Worth Rd
Residents of Oakland City are still trying to pick up the pieces this morning after getting rocked by Tuesday night's storm. High winds and large hail seem to be the major culprits. And after an emergency meeting this morning, city officials have announced a declaration of emergency for Oakland City.
