Residents of Oakland City are still trying to pick up the pieces this morning after getting rocked by Tuesday night's storm. High winds and large hail seem to be the major culprits. And after an emergency meeting this morning, city officials have announced a declaration of emergency for Oakland City.

As far as we know, there we some minor injuries, but nothing life threatening. And if the severe weather weren't enough, a propane leak forced folks on the east side of town to evacuate. That propane leak has since been secured. A large portion of the city has also lost power, and officials expect it could be a couple days before power is restored.

A curfew was in place for residents last night...that expired at 6am this morning. That curfew is expected to go back into effect from 10pm Wednesday night through 6am on Thursday morning.
