With some believing the end of the world is scheduled to occur sometime this month, officials in Kentucky have decided to embrace one of the Bible's great tales. The Kentucky Tourism Development Finance Authority has given the go-ahead to issue $40 million in tax rebates in order to build a biblical theme park based on Noah's Ark, called The Ark Encounter.

Virginia Commonwealth University and Butler will meet Saturday in the most unlikely Final Four match up in NCAA Tournament history.

Led by Jamie Skeen’s 26 points, 11-seed VCU continued their impressive run of giant slaying with a surprisingly easy 71-61 victory over the one-seed Kansas Jayhawks.

Hawaii Named Happiest State in the US

Hawaii was the country's happiest state in 2010.

This according to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, which takes into account emotional health, physical health, healthy behaviors, and job satisfaction.

While one might guess that Hawaii's stellar climate has something to do with its residents' contentment, the rest of the top five happiest states were rounded out by Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska and Colorado -- each far from being a tropical paradise.

On the other end of the spectrum, West Virginia was deemed the most miserable state, followed by Kentucky and Mississippi. Read on to see where Indiana falls and for the complete list.
