The United Caring Services in Evansville will be hosting a Volunteer Fair on Tuesday, March 19th. This is an opportunity for you to learn about the many volunteer opportunities available including meal prepping, clothes sorting, making repairs, and more. You can even learn about becoming a member of the UCS Board of Directors. There are many opportunities for you to help the United Caring Services continue their mission to provide:

people in need access to crisis stabilization services through six life-saving programs: a day shelter (drop-in center) for men, women, and children, emergency temporary shelters for single men and women, additional "white/red flag" emergency shelter during inclement weather, an innovative homeless medical respite for men and women, and 21 low income studio apartments... All of our programs aim to provide guests with the necessary opportunity, dignity, compassion, and tools to aid in their struggle to identify and overcome the barriers that attribute to their crisis of homelessness, near-homelessness, or hunger.

Last year, UCS helped 3,481 individuals in need, helping an average of 154 men, women and children each day. The volunteer fair on March 19th is your chance to give back and get involved with this amazing organization. To learn more and to RSVP, visit the Facebook Event page or call 812-422-0297.
