ORIGINAL STORY:

Several Evansville media outlets are reporting Donald Trump's rally on Thursday will take place at the Old National Event's Plaza in downtown Evansville, and Trump himself will be there.

Reports of a Trump rally in town have been circulating since late last week ahead of the Indiana State Primary next Tuesday, May 3rd after local authorities confirmed the Secret Service and Trump's campaign had reached out about the possibility.

The questions then became, "Where would the rally be held?", "When would it take place?", and "Would Trump himself make an appearance?"

For now, at least two of those questions have been answered.

Both our media partner, 44 News, and 14 News are reporting the rally will take place at the Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville on Thursday, and that Donald Trump will be speaking at the event.

What is still unknown as of this writing is what time the event will begin. When the Ford Center was in the running as a potential location (it was eliminated from contention earlier in the day Tuesday) , it was reported the doors would open at 9:00 a.m. with the rally officially kicking off at Noon. 44 News reports that a time has not yet been set for the Old National Events Plaza, however the Evansville Courier and Press reports that local officials are preparing for a Noon kick off.

It should be noted the Trump campaign has not confirmed the location or that the event will even take place, however 44 News reports Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding has confirmed the event is taking place.
