Veteran's Day

In honor of the upcoming Veteran's Day weekend, students at Highland Elementary created artwork to celebrate community members that have served in the military.

My father was a World War 2 vet and had he lived to see this day, I have no doubt he would have loved what a midwestern family has done to celebrate Veteran's Day this year.

Today is Veteran's Day. A day that we honor veterans in all wars.

Anyone who has served our country will have the chance to enjoy some FREE food from McDonald's, and they can choose from three delicious items.

This Veterans Day, American flags will return to their place of prominence on historic buildings in Downtown Evansville.
