Since his first day in office, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has demonstrated his committment to giving Evansville residents the opportunity to get, and stay, fit and healthy. One way he's done this is through the FREE monthly Fitness In The Park events. The next event is this Saturday, May 17th.

This month's Energize Evansville’s “Fitness in the Park” event will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 9-11 a.m. along the Pigeon Creek Greenway. Participants should meet at Kids Kingdom park located near Riverside Drive and Water Works Road.
Okay, let's not get too technical. The folks from Energize Evansville realize that Lloyd Pool is not a park. But this summer, the Fitness In The Park events have been held at area pools - and this is the last water aerobics event.
