I'm not sure if I've ever written a proper diatribe aka rant, but this is something that just irks me to the core. When did telling time on an analog clock become semi-obsolete?

For the past 80 years, clocks plugged in to an electrical source have kept time based on the rate of the electrical current that powers them. If this current doesn’t keep its usual rate, clocks run a bit fast or slow. Right now, power companies now take steps to ensu
