The frosty temps in Illinois have frozen some of the Amtrak services that are often used.

Good things come to those who wait and that apparently includes trains as there is much rejoicing about a new service connecting Minnesota and Illinois that took 12 years to get done.

It's now possible to see the aftermath of the tragic Amtrak train crash near Mendon, Missouri on Monday. New drone video shows how nearly the entire train was overturned.

Imagine this. You've just experienced a horrific train crash. What's the first thing you do? If you're this group of Boy Scouts, you spring to action and immediately begin helping those injured and in some cases killed. In other words, heroes.

There are multiple reports that a passenger train from Amtrak has derailed near Mendon, Missouri as it was traveling from Chicago to Los Angeles.

The chances of surviving a run in with  a train going over 100 miles per hour are probably not very good. However, one Indiana man has proved that in match between man versus locomotive, sometimes man makes it out alive.
