Abandoned buildings

Exploring abandoned places is very popular these days and I've shared many with you. However, this is the first time I can show you what was found inside one of these decaying structures with news that it's about to be reborn. That is the case for a now-empty Pillsbury factory in Springfield, Illinois.

There was a time when this was a thriving Illinois horse farm. Now, the mansion and it's surroundings are gone, but there's a chance to get one last look at what it was like thanks to some urban explorers.

Abandoned 'water cribs' can be seen along the shoreline of Chicago, but do you know what they were for and why they are still there?

I'll never understand why you would go through all the trouble of building something so huge, so massive, and so costly and just leaving it behind.

We've heard stories before about ghosts haunting old churches, but who knew a whole church could be considered a ghost?!?

Some of the most beautiful places that I have been to are old theatres, and I find it sad that when I find a beautiful movie palace like this just falling apart.

I've seen some weird locations over the years, but this one might take the cake. It's what appears to be over 500 Disney-style castles, but there's one big problem. No one lives there.

If there ever was proof that the old saying "you can't take it with you" is correct, it's this one. Explorers found an abandoned mansion with everything left behind by the deceased owner including a classic custom Corvette in the garage.
