Spencer County Sheriff Needs Your Help Locating Suspect in Wednesday Evening Abduction Case [UPDATE]
UPDATE: AUGUST 29TH AT 1:55 P.M.
Sergeant Todd Ringle with the Indiana State Police posted the following update on Twitter at 1:17 p.m. announcing the suspect, Robert Chilcoate, had been found and arrested.
The Spencer County Sheriff's Office needs your help locating the man they believe was involved in abducting a woman and two children in Daviess County Wednesday evening.
14 News reports the suspect and another man entered a home in Daviess County, pulled a gun, abducted the three individuals, then led authorities on a chase across the Natcher Bridge into Spencer County. The suspects turned into a corn field in an effort to lose authorities, abandoning the vehicle and the victims. One suspect was arrested and the woman and children were taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
The Sheriff's Office describes the suspect as a "White Male, 5'6 and 250lbs." They have not released his name.
