Scam Alert: 40% Off Grocery Coupons on Facebook

If you've seen the 40% off voucher to "Start Your Holiday Shopping" at local grocery retailers, beware because it's a scam.

I spoke with Chris Williams, the Frederica location manager and he told me that they've spoken with the Kroger digital team. The coupon is NOT from the chain and they will not accept it. So, if you see someone who posts the photo, warn them and do not repost!

A similar coupon from the retailer Aldi has popped up too. Survey scams of this variety appeared with frequency on Facebook; Kohl's, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, Kroger (previously), Best Buy, Macy's, Olive Garden, Publix, Target, and Walmart were among retailers scammers used to bait social media users into providing personal information and recruit others to do the same.
