You could say that he magic of the holiday season is here, if you celebrate Christmas in July. And yes, I know that we are about three months away from the holiday season, but now is the time to start planning. One of my family's favorite things to do every holiday season is to hop on board the Polar Express train in French Lick, Indiana.

More tickets for the 2025 French Lick Railway POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride have been added. This is basically a Christmas miracle.

Trust me, you don’t want to miss this enchanting experience. This beloved event, inspired by the classic story “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg, always sells out quickly every year. But they are bringing in more train cars, which will give more families the opportunity to enjoy this holiday tradition.

Set to the iconic soundtrack from the motion picture, passengers will enjoy an 80-minute round trip filled with magic and joy. The train travels through the rail yard, neighborhoods, and a tunnel, all on its way to the North Pole. On board, you’ll meet the Conductor, who punches your ticket, and dancing chefs and elves who serve delicious hot chocolate and cookies. Guests will also read along with the story that started it all.
