Which Indiana City is the Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
According to this report, FORT WAYNE is one of the best places to celebrate St. Patty each March. But why? What makes Fort Wayne, of all places, such a favorable St. Patrick's Day destination? Well, it all comes down to the data, and in this case, the data says that Fort Wayne is ranked the #40 (out of 200) on the list of best places for St. Patrick's Day. Let's break that down a little further. Here are Fort Wayne's stats...
- St. Patrick's Day traditions rank - #47
- Costs rank - #60
- Safety & Accessibility rank - #19
- St. Patrick's Day Weather rank - #194
It's nice to see that folks should feel safe while celebrating in Fort Wayne. The weather really hurt the city's overall ranking, but there's nothing you can do about that. Indianapolis was on the list too and its weather ranking was dead last at #200.
It should come as no surprise that Boston, MA is ranked the #1 place for a St. Patty's Day celebration. Worcester, MA landed at #5 on the list, followed by Chicago, IL at #6. I was surprised to see the cities that rounded out the top five: Reno, Savannah, and Santa Rosa. Huh?!
