My family would love to have a pool, but the sticker shock is a bit much for our budget. We are seriously considering a kiddie pool, though. Wouldn't it be cool to just rent a pool whenever you want to take a dip?

Swimply - Like AirBnd for Swimming Pools
Swimply is a fairly new app that works like Airbnb, but you are just renting a residential pool. Most of the private pools are rented by the hour, and the homeowner can set the rules and guidelines. The question of insurance and liability immediately popped into my head. According to Swimply, hosting through their service provides you with a one-million-dollar general liability policy.

Ok, host Meggie has an awesome setup for guests. The photos sell this one for me, for sure! And at $20/hour this little oasis will probably book up quickly.

Beautiful and well-maintained in ground pool, approx 20x36 feet. Diving board and deep end. Full sun during the day, shade tree and provided umbrellas offer great shield. Beautiful sunsets, night lighting available. Pool house with bathroom (no shower) access.

Host Jacob has a saltwater pool which sounds super fancy to me. This pool is also heated and rents for $48/hour.

Lauren's lovely backyard pool rents for $40/hour, and has some nice amenities. There is a fire pit, basketball court, and a hot tub.
