I’m super excited about this as a local CenterPoint customer. Before, we got left in limbo after the old Vectren app disappeared. Now, CenterPoint is stepping up with more modern, mobile-friendly tools. The goal with this new app is to make account management smoother and for customers to feel more connected with updated information.

What’s Inside This New App?

I dug into the official release and here’s what stood out to me:

  • Quick and secure logins
Set up facial or fingerprint recognition to open the app fast, so no passwords needed.
  • On‑the‑go account control
Check your bill, pay via Apple Pay (or other methods), stash multiple payment cards, or ask for an extension all from your phone.
  • Real‑time electric outage updates
The app shows the Outage Tracker map so you can spot outages and report your own if needed.
  • Track your energy use
You can scroll through historical usage, notice patterns, and find ways to trim down your bill.
  • Bill reminders
Push notifications give you a nudge when your payment is due. No more “oops, forgot” moments.
