It's been a challenging year for many of our neighbors, and we want to help bring the Christmas spirit into their homes. The Christmas Wish mission is about spreading joy, and you can get involved. With over 1,300 wish letters already submitted (as of 11/19/2024), we have a clear picture of the most requested items this holiday season. If you're out shopping on Black Friday, keep an eye out for sales on the toys and gifts children are asking for most. HELPING CHRISTMAS WISH

Below are the top toys requested so far this holiday season. We’ve been keeping track of what’s been purchased throughout the year, and I’ve included notes on the items we are low on and need the most. Last year, we distributed over 50,000 toys, along with hundreds of winter jackets, gloves, mittens, and diapers—just to give you some perspective on the scope of our mission and how much we rely on help from the community. Your support makes a huge difference, and every donation, no matter how big or small, helps bring joy to families in need this holiday season.

2024 CHRISTMAS WISH SEASON

Thanks to the community, over 2,000 families received Christmas last year, and over 8,000 children had presents under the tree. More than 50,000 gifts were distributed to bring holiday joy to families across the region. If you or someone you know is in need this holiday season, letter submissions are happening now, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

CHRISTMAS WISH VOLUNTEERS

Christmas Wish relies on a dedicated core group of volunteers who have passionately supported the mission for 40+ years. US Bank has been a vital partner, allowing employees to volunteer their time during the holiday season. Over the years, many businesses have embraced “Giving Programs,” contributing to the success of our efforts. It’s important to note that without the commitment of volunteers, Christmas Wish wouldn’t be possible.

HOW TO DONATE TO CHRISTMAS WISH?

Your contributions to Christmas Wish are vital, as the program operates on an annual budget of just $500 to $800. Every individual involved volunteers their time, and we’re fortunate to have our space, signage, and other essentials generously donated. Local restaurants even provide meals for our volunteers throughout the season!

When you donate, you’re directly helping children in need, ensuring they receive the joy and warmth of the holiday spirit. Your support makes a meaningful impact in our community, bringing smiles to those who need it most. Together, we can create a brighter Christmas for all!
