When I watched Charlie Kirk’s memorial, it wasn’t for the speeches. It was about the music. And, one voice stood out above the rest that day. Phil Wickham’s. His songs and words didn’t just sound beautiful; they meant something. And now, he’s coming to Evansville!

TobyMac, Jeremy Camp, and the Power of Faith in Music

I’ve always been a fan of contemporary Christian music. During the pandemic, I discovered TobyMac, and I instantly connected with his voice, his personality, and the powerful messages in his songs. His music really helped me get through those tough days. Another favorite of mine is Jeremy Camp. His inspirational journey is something I admire. If you haven’t read his 2013 memoir, I Still Believe, or seen the 2020 faith-based film of the same name, I highly recommend both. I make it a point to catch all the big shows when they come to town, and there’s one of the biggest coming next year that I’m really looking forward to!

A Powerful Celebration of Faith

Did you catch the incredible Christian music at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service over the weekend at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona? Some of the biggest names in contemporary Christian music came together to honor Charlie’s life and legacy, performing for thousands of people who showed up to pay their respects. Artists like Brandon Lake, Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Cody Carnes, and Kari Jobe Carnes all took the stage, and honestly, it felt more like a revival than a memorial. Phil Wickham really stood out to me, and if you’re a fan, there’s some exciting news coming your way!

There’s something so powerful about coming together in worship, and this tour is all about that. I’m planning to be there!
