LONE STAR RODEO CELEBRATES ITS 74TH ANNIVERSARY

Giddy-up cowboys, cowgirls, and little cowpokes! The Lone Star Rodeo is bringing rodeo fun back to the Muhlenberg County Agriculture Center on Friday, March 10th, and Saturday, March 11th, 2023. A 30-year tradition in Muhlenberg County is back and bigger than ever! Bulls and broncs, cowboys and cowgirls — the Lone Star Championship Rodeo will have it all. In an action-packed two hours, you'll enjoy extreme competition, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Cowgirls Barrel Racing, Brahma Bull Riding, and more.

LONE STAR RODEO EVENTS

The Lone Star Rodeo events include; Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Calf Roping, Cowgirl's Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Cowgirl's Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding.

Git along little doggies, and get ready for the kids' events that start 30 minutes before each show, featuring a fun rodeo clown, kids gold rush, a costume contest, and more.

LONESTAR RODEO HISTORY

"Lone Star Rodeo was created in Marfa, Texas by Preston Fowlkes, Sr., and moved the sport of rodeo to the fans in the Southeast. Lone Star Rodeo Company now resides in Crofton, KY on their 660-acre ranch. The family tradition of top-notch stock and competition, pageantry, and family entertainment has been carried on for the past 40 years by Preston Fowlkes, Jr. The family commitment continues into the next generation with the entire family working side by side. Lone Star Rodeo produces over 40 events per year. The Lone Star Rodeo Company travels in thirteen different states, from the Limestone County Sheriff's Arena in Athens, AL up to the Chesapeake Bay in Salisbury, Maryland. Not to mention the beautiful Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia to the Calsonic Arena, on the Celebration grounds in Shelbyville, TN.
