Years ago, I was hanging out backstage at The Grand Ole Opry. If memory serves me correctly, I am pretty sure it was one of the nights I was there as a guest announcer. I remember being very excited because I knew that Henry Cho, an absolutely hysterical stand up comic, was going to be on the show that evening and I was going to have the opportunity to meet him.

Well, I did get the chat with him and was very quick to share with Henry the first place I had ever seen him. You might remember this too!

WAS HENRY CHO ON DESIGNING WOMEN?

Cho was once featured on an episode of the popular TV sitcom Designing Women. He's in what I consider to be one of the funniest episodes of that show- "Julia & Suzanne's Big Adventure".

Remember the episode when Julia and Suzanne head off to Japan? Henry Cho plays an airplane passenger who's seated between them on the flight.

Absolutely hilarious!

HENRY CHO- OPRY MEMBER

Since that time, Henry Cho has become a staple at The Grand Ole Opry. In fact, in January of 2023, he became the first Asian-American to be invited to be an official member.

Well, early next year, Henry Cho is headed out on a spring tour and he's got a stop planned at the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro. He'll be in town on Thursday, March 26th.

Tickets for Henry Cho will go on sale to the general public at 10am CST, Friday, September 19th. There will also be an exclusive venue presale that gets underway at 10am CST, Thursday, September 18th. The official RiverPark presale code is GOLF.

Tickets are $56.75 / $46.75 / $36.75 plus fees. To purchase yours, you can visit RiverParkCenter.org.
