I was blessed to see Owensboro from a Huey helicopter on various occasions and it was a fantastic experience. You fly at altitudes where you can see more landmark details. It's way cooler to fly in a helicopter than in an airplane. Now, you can experience the most incredible views from high in the sky during BBQ & Barrels.

BBQ & BARRELS WEEKEND IN DOWNTOWN OWENSBORO

BBQ & Barrels is set for this Friday, May 12th, from 12 PM until 10 PM and Saturday, May 13th, from 10 PM until 10 PM in downtown Owensboro. The riverfront will come alive with live music, delicious smells, plenty of laughter, and vendors galore. Shoppers can browse an assortment of many unique items that will be on-site at BBQ & Barrels. Mother's Day is on Sunday if you still need a gift!

The carnival returns with amusement park rides, game booths, delicious carnival food, and a whole lot of entertainment. It will be on 2nd Street, just east of the blue bridge. HELICOPTER RIDES SOAR OVER DOWNTOWN 

A helicopter ride at BBQ & Barrels is something your family will remember for years to come. Head to the RiverPark Center to take a ride on Friday from 5 pm until 10 pm and Saturday from 1:30 pm until 10 pm. This once-in-a-lifetime ride will cost $50 a seat. Weather permitting, it will take you 10 to 12 miles down the Owensboro Riverfront to enjoy all the beauty of downtown. Your festival experience can be an unforgettable one!
