Favorite County Fair Experiences
Who can resist deep-fried everything and an ice-cold lemonade on a hot summer day or night? For me, the food is hands down the best part of any county fair. From funnel cakes to corn dogs, it’s a snack lover’s paradise. A close second? The animal exhibits. I can’t get enough of the sweet-talking goats, fluffy bunnies, noisy chickens, and majestic horses. I love them all! Thirdly, it would have to be the tractor pulls and monster truck shows. There’s something electric about the roar of engines, the smell of the track, and the excitement of the crowd!

The 2025 Daviess County Lions Club Fair is scheduled to take place from July 16 to July 19, 2025, at the fairgrounds located at 6191 KY-54, Philpot, KY 42366. This annual event offers a variety of attractions and activities for all ages, including thrilling rides, live entertainment, delicious food, live music, pageants, and more. Under 5 Years Old: Free (pay $5 to ride rides)
Ages 5-12: $10
Adults: $15
Parking: $5 per vehicle

The Daviess County Lions Club
The Daviess County Lions Club has proudly hosted the County Fair for over 50 years, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community. From generous businesses that donate time, equipment, and funding, to dedicated volunteers who show up year after year, this fair is a team effort. More than just fun and festivities, the fair is also a fundraiser. The Lions Club donates the proceeds from the fair and other fundraisers to support eye care services in Daviess County. As a vital non-profit, the Lions Club continues to impact the community! They've generously helped with Christmas Wish projects, and for that, we're grateful.
