KY, IN, and IL! Vote For Your Ten Favorite Country Songs of 2025
It's back! The Big BKR Smackdown is set for Tuesday, December 30th and that's when you will help us choose the #1 Country Song of 2025. And you'll do it by voting for your favorite songs of the year- in real time- as they play on the air in fun and competitive head-to-head knockout rounds.
I said this last year and it's worth repeating. Think of The Big BKR Smackdown as March Madness meets the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. We'll take the 64 most popular country radio singles of 2025 and place them in an NCAA-style bracket. Then, on the 30th, those songs will battle it out in an exciting country music 'tournament'. At the end of the day, with your help and votes, we'll have taken the Top 64 songs and narrowed them down to just one- the #1 Country Song of the Year.
But, to correctly place the songs in that bracket, we have to seed them and that's where YOU come in NOW.
Here's how our preliminary online round works. We've taken those 64 songs and placed them in a simple poll. You can review the list below and choose your TEN favorites. Check 'em out and cast your votes!
Now, when the initial round of voting closes, we'll tally up those votes and seed the tournament bracket. For example, in Round #1, the song with most votes from the prelims will be the overall #1 seed. It will then take on the song that finished 64th in the voting. The #2 seed will be placed on the opposite side of the bracket where it will battle the song that finished 63rd. That's how the Smackdown works!
