Orville has been waiting for 123 days and counting to find his forever home. This handsome 7.5-month-old gray tabby is currently the longest resident at the shelter, and he’s patiently awaiting a family who will understand his needs and give him the time and care he deserves.

Why Orville is Special
Orville is a true "cat’s cat." He thrives in the company of other felines, quickly making friends with every new cat he meets. When nervous or shy newcomers arrive, Orville is often the first to offer comfort, curling up with them by the second day. He is a quiet, gentle soul who prefers calm environments. Though he’s not quite ready for petting yet, he’ll curiously sniff your hand, and he tolerates handling when necessary for his care. Despite his initial shyness, Orville has a kind-hearted nature, and with patience and time, he’s sure to blossom into an affectionate and loyal companion.
