Illinois CTA Train Station Offers Unique Entertainment For Passengers
One of the most interesting experiences in Chicago is riding on public transportation. In particular, the CTA's "L" trains. Honestly, you'll never know what you'll see or witness. I've had some memorable times on the way to an event in the Windy City.

I really enjoy taking first-time riders on the "L" because something will most likely freak them out. Some of the passengers are strange individuals. The regular commuters just go with the flow and ignore it.

The last time I rode the "L" to Wrigley Field for a concert, I witnessed a guy dump a huge package of shrimp on the seat next to him. He ate a couple and then got off at the next station. This dude left the pile of seafood behind for no reason. It was so weird.
Sometimes, you'll get lucky and a musician will be at a station belting out some tunes to earn tip money. That's fun because there's usually nothing entertaining to check out while you're waiting, especially during rush hour.
The CTA has been working hard to make the trains and stations a much better environment for the passengers. Part of this project is bringing in local works of art to put on display. They're now taking it to the next level.
At the 95th and Dan Ryan Red Line station, they've installed a DJ booth. Three days a week, there's a live DJ set to enjoy some good music while you wait for your train. This is the only one of its kind in the whole United States.
