America’s Worst Fast Food Chain Has Nine Illinois Locations
You're busy, I get it. I'm busy, too.
That means there are times when you need to eat quickly, and that's where fast food comes in.
Coupon Birds says America has the world's largest fast food industry, raking in nearly 400 billion dollars.
So, it makes sense to know exactly which places deserve your hard-earned dollars at the drive-thru lane.
So Coupon Birds looked at what restaurants do fast food better than others.
According to their research, America's worst fast food joint is Taco John's.
There are only nine Taco John's locations in Illinois at the moment:
- Bloomington
- Bourbonnais
- Bradley
- Creve Coeur
- East Moline
- East Peoria
- Galesburg
- Jacksonville
- Machesney Park
- Marion
- Milan
- Riverton
Overall, Taco John's on North 2nd Street in Machesney Park is averaging a 3.1, higher than you'd suspect, considering it was called the worst fast food restaurant in America.
Unfortunately, most of the reviews aren't that great. They claim, "Their prices have gone, and they blame it on the minimum wage increase."
I'm a little unsure of what that review is getting at, but I believe the reviewer is saying Taco John's food has gone up in price, and they're blaming it on a minimum wage increase.
Others say they've ordered a steak taco that was "ice cold," and another claimed Taco John's changed the sauce on the street tacos, calling it "disgusting."
However, there are some interestingly positive reviews, and like most fast food experiences, it matters who's working and when you go.
