Living in Evansville, Indiana has a lot of benefits. One of those is that we are centrally located to some other really great cities, all within an easy drive. It was a recent road trip to Louisville, Kentucky where I discovered street corn so good, it was practically a religious experience.

Everything that I had to eat at Noche Mexican BBQ was delicious. Located in a historic Louisville cathedral on Bardstown Road, Noche was originally home to the Calvary Lutheran Church which was built in 1927.

We enjoyed the smoked brisket tacos, the chicken tinga tacos, and sweet platanos fritos (fried plantains), but it was the esquites (street corn) that I could not stop raving about.
