NASCAR fans can enter to win a race-used bumper from a Hendrick Motorsports car, but only for a limited time.

If you've spent time at your local flea market or even on Facebook Marketplace, you've likely found an assortment of NASCAR-related items. I made the mistake of clicking on one such listing a few weeks ago, and now my Marketplace feed is flooded with diecast car replicas, trading cards, worn-out t-shirts, and so on. However, something a tad more interesting recently popped up on my feed that grabbed my attention. It was a contest by Hendrick Motorsports, who are giving away some rather unique items.

Hendrick Motorsports is celebrating 40 years of racing in 2024 and, according to NASCAR, is one of the most successful race teams in NASCAR history. The team was launched by North Carolina car dealership owner Rick Hendrick in 1984. Since then, Hendrick Motorsports has earned a total of 16 driver's championships, 339 wins, and 298 poles across all three major series.

Hendrick Motorsports has four Cup Series drivers: Chase Elliott (No. 9), Kyle Larson (No. 5), William Byron (No. 24), and Alex Bowman (No. 48). For the team's 40th anniversary, Hendrick Motorsports is giving away four used-race bumpers, one from each car. Those wanting to own a piece of exclusive NASCAR memorabilia can enter to win here. Fans can gain additional entries by completing tasks such as liking the team's social media pages or browsing team swag. The sweepstakes will stay open until November 11, 2024. It's safe to say I might have some more clicking to do.

Old-School NASCAR Car Logos That Are Still Cool Today

It's pretty common for NASCAR rides to switch designs week to week, but back in the '90s, when the cars had to be actually painted versus wrapped like today, rides stuck with designs for weeks at a time.

Some of these paint jobs never would see the light of day in today's world. Let's run down some some classic NASCAR sponsor paint jobs as well as some forgotten ones.
