Kentucky Restaurant Named ‘Best Under-the-Radar Steakhouse’ in the State
The next time you want a good steak in Kentucky, maybe try out the best under-the-radar steakhouse in the entire state.
Going out to eat in Kentucky can get pretty expensive, especially if you are feeding the whole family. That being said, sometimes it's nice to treat yourself to a nice dinner where you don't have to take the time to cook and dirty up any dishes. Personally, I would never turn down a good steak. According to a survey in this Fox News story, I'm not alone. The survey says that steak is America's favorite meal, and steak is also what nearly 66 percent of Americans say they would have as their LAST meal too.
We have no shortage of amazing steakhouses in Kentucky. Many people like to hit up the big chain steakhouses when they go out to eat, but you can't sleep on some of the delicious local steakhouses that we have in the state. Many would call these "under-the-radar" steakhouses a must-visit. Well, one website recently claims to have found the best under-the-radar steakhouse in the Bluegrass State. It sounds like it's worth a try!

This is the Best Under-the-Radar Steakhouse in Kentucky
The website, Cheapism, recently found the best under-the-radar steakhouse in each state. So, what exactly does that mean? Forget the popular chain steakhouses, these are chef- or family-owned steak joints that (in most cases) only locals know about. The selections were made based on their overall customer ratings, awards, local word of mouth, and expert recommendations. Having said that, Cheapism says that the best under-the-radar steakhouse in Kentucky is Pat's Steakhouse in Louisville.
Here's what Cheapism had to say about Bynum's:
Established in 1958, Pat's boasts a 18-ounce bone-in ribeye and 24-ounce porterhouse T-bone served in a historic landmark inn. Dry-aged prime beef is served up with a selection of starters that includes Irish stew and baby frog legs. The family recipe Irish Whiskey Cake is a popular dessert.
While the menu looks delicious, it looks like you might want to be prepared to spend a little bit of cash while dining there. However, this steakhouse seems ideal for date night. It's certainly worth checking out!
So, have you ever eaten at this steakhouse? Do you agree with Cheapism? Or do you feel like a different steakhouse in Kentucky should have been featured?
