Hidden Gem Fast-Food Joint in Indiana Named Among America’s Best
Fast-food spots are a dime a dozen in Indiana, but there is only one that has earned the title of the "best" fast-food restaurant in the state...and it isn't a major chain.
Everyone has their favorite go-to fast food restaurants. As you know, there are so many to choose from here in Indiana. Burgers, tacos, pizza, and other sandwiches at these fast food chains in the state are the perfect meal when you're in a rush. Sure, you can always go to the drive-thru of any major fast food chain, but if you want to find really good fast food, you need to look into the local fast food joints. I've found that some of the best burgers can be found at those hole-in-the-wall places. While they might not stand out as much as the major chains, these local fast-food restaurants are hidden gems throughout Indiana. That being said, which one has been dubbed the best in the state? Let's find out!

Hidden Gem Fast-Food Joint in Indiana Named Among America’s Best
Finance Buzz posted the Tastiest Local Fast Food Spots in Every State recently. Naturally, I was curious, out of all of the local fast-food restaurants scattered throughout the Hoosier State, which one did they pick? There are a lot of great options, however, the fast-food joint that they chose is a hidden gem in Indianapolis. This honor goes to Punch Burger. Punch Burger is not to be confused with Paunch Burger from "Parks and Recreation".
The restaurant is located near the corner of 96th Street and College inside the Parkwood Crossing Office Park. This hidden gem is tucked away but features a beautiful dining area and a patio overlooking the water.
Here's what Finance Buzz had to say about Punch Burger:
The burgers at Punch Burger are made with local, grass-fed Angus beef to create the freshest sandwich around.
It's all about the Punch Cheeseburger on a grill top here, and you'll love the waffle fries as a side, too.
It appears that there was once a location in Downtown Indianapolis, now the only remaining location is in the NORA area in northern Indianapolis, near Carmel. That being said, I did get a chance to look at their menu and there are quite a few things there that I want to try such as the Burnt Cheese Burger and the Good Morning Burger. Have you dined at Punch Burger before? If so, what did you think? Worth checking out?
