A Quaint Southern Indiana Town With a Hint of Spooky Charm
New Harmony, Indiana, is a small town with a lot of history. New Harmony is a national historic landmark and was first settled over 200 years ago.
Settled in 1814, New Harmony was first a spiritual sanctuary for the Harmonie Society and then a haven for international scientists and scholars led by Robert Owen in 1825.
With a history dating back more than two centuries, you know there has to be some interesting history. New Harmony is a quaint town with a lot to see and do. But even charming little towns aren't immune to local legends, and some of New Harmony's spooky tales are brought to life during ghost walks.
Haunted New Harmony
Haunted New Harmony has a passion for sharing chilling tales and ghost stories from the New Harmony area. Throughout the year, they host the Haunted New Harmony Ghost Walks, which are well-known around the area. During the walks, you will see historic locations and learn about the legends that surround those places, as well as some of the history.
Ghost walks are fun and typically not "scary" in the traditional sense. I mean, sure, you hear some rather chilling tales, but for the most part, the ghost walks are a fun way to see the town at night and hear some of the creepier tales. However, on Friday the 13th, this is going to change because Jason Voorhees has set his sights on New Harmony.
Special Edition Friday the 13th Ghost Walks, Will You Survive?
Do you think you have what it takes to survive the iconic hockey-masked slasher? If so, this Friday, Haunted New Harmony is hosting a special Friday the 13th edition of their ghost walks, and Jason himself is going to be after you.
