The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week from the VHS who is looking for a forever home, this week is a handsome guy looking for a home in time for Valentine's Day.

Meet Dapper Rocky

Rocky is a dapper young guy who is looking for his forever home, and he would be the perfect Valentine! Here is what the VHS had to say about this sweet guy:

If you’re looking for love this Valentine’s Day, trust us… Rocky is DREAMY! This handsome boy is only 9 months old and he loves other cats. He is silly and playful with them, but then just as quickly you’ll find him giving another feline friend a bath. He came to the VHS with two siblings who have already been adopted, so he’s the “last bachelor standing” and ready to mingle. You can visit him at River Kitty Cat Cafe on Main Street in Downtown Evansville. River Kitty is open on Valentine’s Day from 10 am - 7 pm. Rocky’s adoption fee is only $100 and he is neutered & ready to go home right there on the spot after you visit him!
