The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana will hold its annual Fall Harvest event this Saturday, October 29th from 6:00 - 8:00PM at the Dunigan Family YMCA on Oak Grove Road.  The community event, in its 7th year, celebrates the change of season with family-friendly activities for kids ages 12 and under.

This family fun event includes outdoor activities like hayrides, trunk-or-treating, and costume photo opportunities as well as indoor activities like face painting, pumpkin decorating, inflatable slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and carnival-style games as well as concessions.

The event is free to YMCA members and only $3 per person or $10 per family for non-members.  Registration is recommended for the event by this Friday, October 28th.  The public can register by calling 812-401-9622 or by emailing dunigany@ymcaswin.org.

This annual event garnered over 630 participants last year, 350 of which were children.  Alex Strohm, who spearheads the event, says, "Fall Harvest is an opportunity for the Y to put its mission into action and serve all of those in our community in a safe, family-friendly environment. It's our way of bringing different people and families together to interact and have fun during the fall season."
