The YMCA will host its 4th Annual Fit4All community event from 8:30 am – 11:30 am on Saturday, January 6th at the Dunigan Family YMCA on the eastside of Evansville. Dunigan Branch Executive Barb Dykstra says, "Fit4All is meant to show people different ways to get active and moving in the new year. We've included activities for both adults and children so families can learn how to get healthy together."

The annual event is a fitness free-for-all that has expanded to feature seventeen different group exercise classes for adults and four classes for kids ages 3 and up. Most classes are only 30-minutes in length to encourage participants to sample multiple classes. As part of the event, the Y will be debuting its newest group exercise class - BodyCombat™.

BodyCombat™ a high-energy, non-contact, martial arts inspired workout with no complex moves to master. Participants punch and kick their way to fitness, burning up to 740 calories in a single class. This new class will be offered in a 55- and 30-minute version at Fit4All.

Other group exercise classes at the Fit4All community event include BodyPump™, BodyAttack™, CXWorx™, RPM™, Sh'Bam™, ShockWave™, TRX®, Warm Yoga, and Zumba®.

Registration for the event starts at 7:30AM and is free and open to the community.  For more information and event schedule, the public can visit ymcaswin.org.
