Get ready to experience World War II like you never have before — in Lego form!

The Evansville Museum of Arts & Science on Riverside Drive have announced a three day exhibit appropriately titled, "WWII in Lego." The "5000 square foot exhibition" will "feature recreations of famous battle scenes, vehicles and ships from World War II, as well as LEGO depictions saluting World War II," according to information posted on the Museum's Facebook page.

As someone who grew up playing with Legos as a kid, and got excited as an adult to help my own kids put various play sets together (maybe even more excited than they were), I'm really looking forward to seeing this exhibit. My family and I took a trip to Lego Land in Orlando a few summer's back, and I was in awe of the massive landscapes and famous characters built entirely out of the famous plastic bricks throughout the park. I have no doubt this will be equally impressive.

Admission will be $15 for adults and $10 for kids, and will also get you admission to the entire museum, the Koch Immersive Theater, the Evansville Museum Transportation Center (EMTRAC), and the Dinosaur Discovery exhibition running through October 28th.
