Mayor Winnecke will hold the first Traveling City Hall meeting of 2015 in Ward 6 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, located at 1600 Glendale Avenue, this Wednesday, January 28th from 5:30pm-7pm. The meeting will be a continuation of the Mayor’s Community Conversations encouraging residents to become more actively involved in the community, report crime and share ideas for improvement.

Mayor Winnecke will give an update on the Mayor’s No Meth Task Force public service campaign and current meth legislation; representatives from the Department of Metropolitan Development and the Building Commission will take questions about blight elimination and code enforcement; WorkOne Southwest will offer information on job openings; and representatives from the Evansville Police Department and Evansville Fire Department will discuss runs to Ward 6 neighborhoods. The Vanderburgh County Prosecutors Office and United Neighborhoods of Evansville will also participate.

City department heads will be available to discuss issues with residents one-on-one. The meeting is open to all city residents.
