Last night, both the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets won Game 5 of their respective playoff series, closing the gap from three games to none to three-two. Can either team keep it up and pull out Game 7 win?

In the NBA, this has never happened. Teams have come back from three-to-one deficits, and in other sports there have been a handful of comebacks from down three games. The Celtics are trying to do to the Knicks what another Boston team managed to do to another New York team in 2004, when the Red Sox fought all the way back from down three games to none to a triumphant Game 7 defeat of their archrivals.

Boston went on to win the World Series for the first time in 86 years, in case you needed a reminder.

Out West, the Rockets are trying to topple top-seeded Oklahoma City. The Thunder looked to be well on their way to a sweep, before their starting point guard Russell Westbrook went down with an injury. Now, it appears that the Rockets have a real shot at winning this series, something that would have been virtually unthinkable just a few days ago.
